AI Toronto Film Awards, November 13, 2026, doors open

Season 1 · Toronto

Every cut is a choice between two frames: the one that stays, and the one that gets let go.

We live inside that choice, where human instinct and machine suggestion sit side by side and only one of them wins the frame.

Submit the cut you'd defend →

What stays

The frame you keep.

A choice made by a person, at a specific moment, for a specific reason. The line that got written and rewritten. The take that felt true. The cut that made the scene land.

We are not asking whether your film used artificial intelligence. We are asking what happened in the moment it did.

What goes

The frame you cut.

The version a model offered and you didn't use. The generated take that was close, but not it. The suggestion you overruled, on purpose, because you knew better.

Any genre, any format, as long as you can point to the exact place AI was in the room, and the exact place you said no.
